2020–2021

In the neighborhood alleys of Hachioji, Tokyo, where the founder lived during university, no corner or gap between buildings was wasted—even the smallest spaces operated as 2–4 car coin parking lots, systematically monetizing idle urban space throughout the city. We rediscovered in Japan that when small spaces are connected, they become urban infrastructure.

2022

On a winter day in 2022, the founder had an appointment on the vibrant youth street near Hongdae Station in Seoul. Driving there, he kept circling with nowhere to park. Yet right there, between small buildings, ample empty spaces existed. Spaces no one used because of questions like 'Can I park here briefly? What if it becomes awkward?' We saw clearly in this scene: cities don't lack space—space simply isn't 'open.'

2024

We built the first version of BlueSquare with QR-based on-site payments, app-less instant access, and an owner dashboard with settlement tools. We began early pilots in leftover parking pockets in Namdong-gu (Incheon), small private lots in Gimpo, and municipal lots—and we validated a simple truth: idle spaces can be converted into real revenue.

2025

We refined our AI-powered platform with ANPR (license plate recognition), demand forecasting based on time, weather, and events, and automated dynamic pricing. By expanding pilots across Incheon’s public lots and private lots in Gimpo, we’re shaping a new standard for city-scale space management.

2026+
